HAAS Barenia
Barenia produced in France at the HAAS leather factory, Barenia was originally used by Herm** to make saddles and harness accessories, and then in the 1970s was used by the brand to make leather goods.
Barenia is made from calf leather embryo from the south of France, using a double tanning process of chrome and vegetable tannin, soaked in a mixture of nine oils for five weeks before drying, the process of making the leather is very complex and time-consuming, the production is limited, and there are only a few master tanners in the HAAS factory who are able to make Barenia at the moment.
Barenia contains a large amount of oils and is lightly scented. It has a no-frills, unpainted surface with fine pores, a soft, smooth texture, and a natural, soft sheen. It is also water-resistant and self-healing from scratches, which makes it durable and gives it a warm, jade-like appeal over time.
